Do you ever feel that there is a disconnect between mandates and realistic
expectations? Is there a way to have students excel with Common Core Standards
and expectations of parents?

It is of vital importance that as expectations change, educators are at the
forefront driving the bus of transformation and not sitting idly as a grumpy passenger.
There are ways to become more involved with positive change even if the initial
onset of change was bitter pill to swallow.

The best examples educators, administrators, and parents can provide students is to
demonstrate continuous improvement models, positive attitudes, and appropriate
ways to change things you don’t agree with.

I have had the opportunity to work with a wonderful business that just could not take their business to the next level. Their new goals were not being met. After our consultation, I interviewed employees. Over and over I heard that they were so happy to have someone to talk to about issues at their workplace. Your employees should have a way of expressing their issues/ideas. As a leader of your organization, you must provide a platform for all stakeholders to have input. After working with this business, they have a new work flow process, accurate job descriptions, and processes in place for employees to have their voice heard. Employees helped in creating and retooling goals for the business After 6 months, the business had already meet several of their yearly goals.
